Jaime Orjuela

He is a broad connoisseur of the energy sector in Colombia, since he has worked as a consultant for several public entities in that line, analyst and advisor on tariff issues, energy planning and regulation in distribution companies, such as Electrificadora del Meta, Electricaribe (today Air-e and Afinia), Unión Fenosa and Vanti, and coordinator of the Energy Planning Group of the Energy Planning Unit (UPME).


He joined Grupo Energía Bogotá, where he has held various positions: Manager of Planning and New Electricity Transmission Businesses, Leader of Regulation and of the Urban Energy Solutions area and President in charge of Transportadora de Gas Internacional (TGI). He has taught different postgraduate programs on energy issues at Colombian universities, currently at the Universidad Externado de Colombia.


Today he is Director of Regulation of the GEB
