Transmission Branch

Results

  • We achieved a reduction of over 60% in the lost time incident frequency indicator (LTIFI).
  • We acquired assets in operation, including the substations Betania (230 kV) and Tuluní (230 kV).
  • We started up operations at the Armenia (230 kV) project, Altamira (230 kV) substation and La Loma (500 kV) substation.
  • We have 9 projects in progress: Colectora, Sogamoso-Norte-Nueva Esperanza, Chivor II-Norte-Bacatá, Refuerzo Suroccidental, Tesalia-Alférez, Renacer-Mocoa substation, La Loma, San Fernando-Ecopetrol and the Drummond connection.
  • We began the country’s largest prior consultations process for the Colectora (500 kV) project, involving 235 ethnic communities in La Guajira and Cesar.

Challenges

  • We will consolidate the sustainability model, social investment and shared value process.
  • We will make progress with the Occupational Safety and Health culture with a 0-accident vision.
  • We will implement Productive Assets Management.
  • We will maintain operating excellence.
  • We will incorporate innovation and new technologies in our Energy Transformation.

TGI

Results

  • For the fifth consecutive year, zero deaths were reported in our operations.
  • We delivered the Ballena – Barrancabermeja pipeline.
  • The Puerto Romero-Vasconia loop of the Cusiana project phase IV came into operation, as well as the Pompeii and Yarigüies-Puerto Wilches sections.
  • We brought well-being to the communities through our Windmill programs to pump water and Family Solar Energy, among others.
  • We fulfilled the financial income and EBITDA goals.

Challenges

  • We will participate in the bidding process for the Pacífico re-gasification plant.
  • We will begin to operate the two remaining loops of the Cusiana Phase IV project: Guillermo-La Belleza and El Porvenir-Miraflores bridge; as well as the sections in the industrial area Cantagallo, Cantagallo-San Pablo and Galán-Yondó.
  • We will promote increased demand from the different economic sectors: in vehicles, with 800 units powered by VNG; in industry, through energy substitution plans; and in households by implementing additional use of gas household appliances.

Guatemala

Tresca

Results

  • We advanced 78% on construction of the PET.
  • We became the first electricity transportation company in Central America to have a certified Quality Management System under the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • We achieved the consolidation of the Chiantla substation and powered up the expansion of the La Vega II substation.
  • We developed closer relations with the communities of Sololá and obtained construction licenses for the works.
  • We implemented 22 Shared Value programs that improve the lives of 28,740 Guatemalans:
  • We planted 36,666 trees with the programs Sembrando Huella (Planting trees) and #YoReforestoChallenge.

Challenges

  • We will ensure the viability of the remaining works of the project PET- 01-2009.
  • We will optimize the electric energy transportation networks by laying double circuits over the existing infrastructure.
  • We will continue to increase the communities’ access to electricity service, improving the life conditions of populations in the most remote areas.

Eebis

Results

  • We received clearance from the National Electric Energy Commission for a toll to remunerate the Anillo Pacífico Sur Project, following successful submission of all costs associated with the investment. This is the first project undertaken and 100% completed as a private initiative in Guatemala.
  • The Anillo Pacífico Sur Project consists of 96 kilometers of transmission lines and 7 substations that connect the sugar mills.

Brazil

Gebbras

Results

  • We attained a net income of 42%.
  • We began the expansion of the Viana 2 substation, with investment worth approximately BRL 55 million.
  • We performed the replacement of current transformers that had reported operational problems.
  • We continue to work on the Expenses Reduction Plan at the companies we have invested in, which will lead to organizational downsizing in 2020, with approximate annual savings of BRL 11 million.
  • We worked on achieving greater operating efficiency by bringing the operations of the 4 companies (TER, MGE, GOT and TSP) under single unified management.

Challenges

  • We will restructure debt in our companies.
  • We will achieve synergies with Argo (in progress) to achieve efficiencies in the short and long term.
