Empresa de Energia de Bogota stock among the top 5 most attractive stocks in the COLCAP Index

  • According to the December 2016 issue of the Financial Opinion Survey held by Fedesarrollo (EOF), published on a monthly basis, the EEB stock has a percentage of preference of 27.6% among investors.
  • This stock preference has increased 6.8% in comparison with the December 2015 percentage.

Bogota, December 12th, 2016. According to the most recent Financial Opinion Survey (EOF), published by Fedesarrollo, the stock of the Empresa de Energia de Bogota is one of the most preferred by investors, among those comprising the COLCAP Index of the Colombia Stock Market.  EEB stock occupied the fourth place in preference, after Grupo Exito, Grupo Argos and Preferencial Bancolombia, in that order.

The EOF enquired analysts on the most attractive stocks comprising the COLCAP. According to the results, 27.6% of people surveyed preferred the EEB stock. In the same survey held last year, this percentage was 20.8%, which shows a significant increase in the investors’ preferences regarding this stock.

The stock of the Empresa de Energia de Bogota shows a solid and stable behavior, and it is the only Company in the energy sector among the Top 5 most attractive stocks for investors according to the EOF.
