Grupo Energía Bogotá Foundation

The Grupo Energía de Bogotá Foundation was established on September 30, 2008 and founded by Grupo Energía Bogotá S.A. ESP (GEB) and Transportadora de Gas Internacional S.A. ESP (TGI) with the purpose of creating an instrument through which to formulate, develop and lead programs, projects and initiatives that contribute to the progress and improvement of the socioeconomic and cultural conditions of the communities located in the areas where the Group's companies are present.

The administrative headquarters of the Foundation are in Bogota and since it was created, it has been in charge of different initiatives and projects at a national level that recognize the needs of society and aim to take advantage of the Group's strengths, resources and experience to promote a genuine relationship with communities, create shared value and contribute to the sustainable development of the territories of influence.

The Foundation is a non-profit legal entity under private law, for public service with legal and financial autonomy, subject to the Colombian legal regime.

Strategic approach

The Grupo Energía Bogotá Foundation aims to become the operator that will bring progress to the territories where GEB's businesses, the Transmission Branch, TGI or any other subsidiary in Colombia are located, carrying out social investment and shared value projects in the development of GEB's sustainability policy and strategy.
