In order to carry out the transmission activity, consisting on power transportation services through high voltage networks, connected to the National Transmission System, coordinating, controlling and overseeing transmission asset operations, EEB has 1.504 km of 230 kV double circuit lines with assets in ten substation at 230 kV (40 bay lines, seven coupling bays, five distributing bays and eight common modules) and five voltages sharing capacitors connected at 115 kV (285 MVAr total), including new bays that began operations on June 2006.
